Britney Spears Returns Home to Kentwood - Britney Spears : People.com

Britney Spears is home again: The pop star left California on Friday and returned to her hometown of Kentwood, La. – her first trip back since before her hospitalization and custody battles of the past year, a source tells PEOPLE.

Also in town is Spears's father, Jamie, who remains in legal control of her affairs until a July 31 hearing.

The singer's arrival in her home state comes as sources say there is a planned baby shower over the weekend for her 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn, who announced her pregnancy in December.

Big Payday for Lawyers in Britney Spears Case - Britney Spears : People.com

"A Los Angeles court on Thursday ordered payment of nearly $400,000 to the numerous lawyers involved in Britney Spears's affairs – with the pop star footing the bill.

All the attorneys have been working on the case for less than three months.

Samuel Ingham, Spears's court-appointed attorney, will continue to receive $10,000 a week, Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled.

Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of Spears's finances, will receive an advance of $100,000. (Wallet had not been paid since becoming involved last February.).

The firm which won Jamie Spears control of his daughter's affairs will also be advanced $175,000, and a lawyer representing Britney's brother Bryan Spears will get $22,500, while Stacy Phillips, Britney's new divorce lawyer, will receive $75,000."

Review: Madonna's Hard Candy

Hard Candy is Madonna's first studio album since 2005

On Madonna's 11th album, Hard Candy, the queen of pop invites us to imagine her as a confectioner running a musical sweet shop.

But, after sitting through the 12 tracks on offer here, you'll begin to wish she'd stocked more than two varieties of candy.

Those flavours come from two of America's most bankable songwriting teams: The Neptunes and Timbaland, who between them have conjured up hits for the likes of Britney Spears, Jay-Z, Missy Elliot and Justin Timberlake.

Timberlake himself crops up on five of the tracks, posing a particularly pertinent question about who is running the show when he asks "Who is the master? Who is the slave?" as the album closes.

This sort of top flight production is an unusual step for Madonna, who has a reputation for seeking out relatively obscure dance producers like Mirwais, Shep Pettibone and Stuart Price to helm her albums.

This time round, however, the queen of reinvention is trying to win back the hearts of the US audience - who were largely unimpressed with her 2005 love letter to disco, Confessions On A Dancefloor.

It all starts off well enough. Opening track Candy Shop is an agenda-setting call to arms, with Madonna promising a "special connection" and "plenty of heat".

The minimal, skittering drums are punctured by colossal stabs of synth, while Madonna purrs weak sweet shop-related innuendos: "Don't pretend you're not hungry, there's plenty to eat... I got Turkish Delights."

You get the picture.

Things step up a gear with the Justin Timberlake collaboration 4 Minutes, which features the best use of cowbell in pop since Free's All Right Now, but sounds so futuristic it could realistically have been beamed in from the end of the world.

'Pop moments'

Lyrically, the album plays it safe. Madonna may have been inspired to make a documentary about the Aids epidemic in Africa when she adopted two-year-old Malawian orphan David Banda, but you would be hard pressed to find any social commentary in her music.

Hard Candy featurs five collaborations with Justin Timberlake

She even repeats herself, echoing Into The Groove when she sings "Don't you know, can't you see? When I dance I feel free" on Heartbeat.

Then again, Madonna has always been at her best when extolling the virtues of music as a release, and it is on Hard Candy's club-orientated tracks that she excels.

She's Not Me, a Neptunes production, feels like a five-minute musical summary of her career to date.

It kicks off with Chic-esque guitars that are reminiscent of Holiday before morphing into a pulsing club groove that could have been lifted straight from her last album.

Track three, Give It To Me, is already pencilled in as the album's second single. It is one of the record's few out-and-out pop moments, featuring a cute, bouncy beat and a sense of humour that has been missing from Madonna's music since her Dick Tracy days.

"If it's against the law, arrest me, if you can handle it, undress me," she chirps as the song builds to a blistering crescendo that will surely be the highlight of any future live set.

She’s been a wild child even for Girls Gone Wild, and posed half-naked for The New York Post, but so far no photo of Ashley Alexandra Dupre nude has been found.

The same may be true even now.

However, thanks to the unending labor of Egotastic.com, we have found what some believe are the first Ashley Dupre nude pictures. Possibly.

The photo below was allegedly taken from the Emperor’s Club VIP web site, and shows what appears to be a naked Ashley Alexandra Dupre.

We can’t be certain about this, though, because hiding the escort’s face is typical practice for such sites. For obvious reasons, of course.

Still, check it out and see for yourself. Some believe this girl and the hooker caught in the Eliot Spitzer sex scandal are one and the same …

With those words, the then-teenager who allegedly became “Kristen,” New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s high-priced prostitute, told a Palm Beach Post reporter why she was flaunting her now famous assets for the cameras of Girls Gone Wild.

The place: Miami Beach’s Chesterfield Hotel.
The time: A sweaty afternoon in mid-March 2003.
The star: Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 17, introducing herself as the newest Girls Gone Wild star, “Amber.” She said she was 21, from New Jersey and recently worked as a waitress in North Carolina.

She was already turning heads.

During many hours of drunken revelry at a hotel filmed by Girls Gone Wild, Ashley Dupre photos and video - replete with topless antics and suggestive dancing - were captured for one of the tapes that made Joe Francis a multi-millionaire.

And a man facing up to 10 years in federal prison and many more than that in the fiery pits of hell, but that’s a subject for another time.

Earlier this week, Girls Gone Wild offered her $1 million to pose in her birthday suit. Then the seedy company discovered it didn’t have to shell out the money: Its archives contained 5-year-old footage and pictures of Ashley Dupre.

But even for the producers and cameramen who traveled across America with the single goal of finding drunk girls willing to lift up their shirts, “Amber” took the party to a place where even Girls Gone Wild won’t go.

Ashley Dupre hopped on a table in the middle of a hotel lobby crammed with frat boys and launched into a raunchy strip-tease. That’s when the camera crew packed up and returned to their monster bus to leave town.

Someone Actually Gives Lindsay Lohan New Movie Role

Lindsay Lohan’s last film was called I Know Who Killed Me, and it was so bad that the 17 people who saw it nearly died at the box office. True story.

Now the Crotch of Fire will be starring in another murder-filled flick.

Lohan has been tapped to play Nancy Pittman, one of Charles Manson’s cult followers, in the upcoming film Manson Girls, according to E!.

Since Lindsay Lohan, 21, has had serious troubles with the law and just completed rehab, “the production company is insuring her for the film,” a source told E!

Lindsay Lohan will make her film return in Manson Girls.

In other news, on Sunday, Lindsay Lohan’s 67-year-old grandmother suffered minor injuries after driving her car into a tree and pole on Long Island.

Recent reports of Lindsay herself colliding with a pole (belonging to Calum Best) are untrue, as the grainy cellphone picture of some chick polishing the knob of some dude turned out not to be the troubled celebrity after all. Sad.

Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen Nude Photos to Be Auctioned

Kate Moss is garnering headlines once again - and not for her cocained use, waifish appearance or the antics of her idiot, drug-addict boyfriends.

Photos of a nude Kate Moss and of Gisele Bundchen naked are set to be auctioned off at Christie’s with an estimated price tag of $3 million.

That’s $3 million more than the (HOT!) one posted below… although the ones being auctioned off may be of slightly higher quality.

Kate Bosworth Sex Scene: A Drunken Affair

The Kate Bosworth sex scene with Jim Sturgess for their new movie, 21, is pretty hot. Just don’t ask Kate for too many the details.

“We were both so drunk,” the actress star said. “Jim and I became such good friends, we decided to have a couple of drinks, loosen up and go for it.”

The on-set action is also pretty vague for Jim Sturgess.

“We were on Grey Goose, I think,” said the British actor. “It was brilliant for about half and an hour. As we continued to drink … it just became sloppy and messy. I couldn’t stand up at one point.”

One wonders if she takes the same approach with boyfriend James Rousseau.

Marko Jaric: Not Engaged to Adriana Lima … Yet

Minnesota Timberwolves star Marko Jaric is “over the moon” about his new love, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima. But don’t believe celebrity gossip that he’s shopping for engagement rings. At least not yet.

The couple have been dating for the last six months, but Marko Jaric says he was perplexed by recent celebrity news sites’ reports talking about him checking out local jewelry stores for a rock for Adriana Lima.

“I am not shopping right now,” the 29-year-old Serbian Sensation said.

“But I could start tomorrow. I am that close. I’m definitely not yet engaged, but it doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about it.”

Marko Jaric may not hit many jump shots, but he’s hitting Adriana Lima.

When the time comes, however, the entire process may come as a surprise.

“I would rather keep that my own secret,” says Marko Jaric, who averages a pedestrian 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game career.

“It’s a life decision … a private thing.”

Jaric admits he’s not normally such a romantic, but being with a Brazilian supermodel like Adriana Lima has changed him. Funny how that will do it.

“I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint,” he says. “Now, it’s a little different situation.”

Just give it time. This guy is so smitten it’s not even funny. In a few months these two will be engaged just like Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. Watch.
